The Patriots will submit their first injury report of the week on Wednesday.

Brady has been hit 32 times through the first five games of the season, including 16 sacks. Players acknowledged Tuesday those numbers are too high.
We have to do a better job protecting him, running back James White said. We’re all accountable for that.
Added starting left tackle Nate Solder: We hate to see him get hit. Keeping him clean, keeping him upright, that’s our goal every week.
Milano scored on a ricochet off Darling’s backside at 10:01 of the third, becoming the first Columbus player to score in his first three games of a season. Oliver Bjorkstrand and Nick Foligno assisted on the goal.
I just went for a spot goalies usually leave open and got it over the pad, Milano said. It’s good to have three goals in three games, especially being a rookie.
Skinner tied it with an unassisted goal at 18:35 after the Hurricanes had pulled Darling.
But with the clock ticking down in overtime, the 21-year-old Milano scored his second game-winner.
I knew all three guys were caught on my breakaway, he said.
Carrasco’s objective: Avenge last year’s postseason absence
Corey Kluber is stoic to the point of sleep-inducing. But he’s a two-time All-Star on the verge of his second career Cy Young Award, so he stands front and center as the ace and acknowledged leader of the Cleveland Indians’ pitching rotation.
Indians: Encarnacion sat out again after leaving Game 2 with a sprained right ankle. Before the game, Francona said the team hoped Encarnacion would be available to pinch-hit. … OF Brandon Guyer is scheduled for surgery Wednesday in Arizona to repair a tendon in his left wrist, ending any chances of him playing in this postseason.
During the bottom of the first or the second, Diamondbacks slugger J.D. Martinez will step to the plate at Chase Field against Dodgers right-hander Yu Darvish. They’ve squared off against each other for their current teams before. On Aug. 10, Martinez homered off Darvish during an 8-6 L.A. win in Phoenix.
Before that, Martinez had done nothing against Darvish, having managed a lone single in 10 at-bats and striking out six times. Martinez had three at-bats against Darvish on May 21, striking out twice and flying out to the wall in center. Martinez played for the Detroit Tigers then, while Darvish was toiling for the Texas Rangers.
It’s funny how things criss-cross and intersect over the course of the long baseball season. The Tigers and Rangers both ended up as sellers at the deadline, though with the Rangers hanging in the American League wild-card race until late in the season, maybe they shouldn’t have been.
In what both teams intended to be a night of healing, the Lakers and Kings — along with T-Mobile Arena, AEG and MGM Resorts International — donated the proceeds of the game to benefit victims, families and first responders impacted by the tragic mass shooting on Oct. 1.
We want to make sure that evil and hate don’t stop us from coming to Las Vegas because this is a great city, and we live in a great country, added Johnson, who thanked the first responders and asked fans to lock arms and say a prayer for the victims and their families. It doesn’t matter the color of your skin, it doesn’t matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, we have to come together and support everybody who was involved, so make sure that you continue to pray for those families. It is very, very important.
Enter the Durant Co., which was started up before his final year in Oklahoma City. The company has invested between $50,000 and $2 million into more than 30 companies, including microlender Acorns and delivery service Postmates.
How much Durant is actually involved in the deal, besides the funding capital, varies.
Just because there’s a deal with the Durant Co. doesn’t mean you get automatically get Kevin Durant, the spokesperson, but you do get Kevin Durant, the businessman, Kleiman said.
With Durant and the Warriors on top of the NBA world, Kleiman said he and Durant are seeing incredible deal flow, vetted by Silicon Valley’s best, but at least on this investment, it’s about two different types of dough.
